Something Crazy

I decided not to stay in the office during lunch hour. I felt like driving out of the office's vaccinity. So, I asked my colleague along and she agreed. Hmmm.. where shall we have lunch then??

She suggested to have some dessert, not to have lunch. I agree! We were planning to go to SS2 to have our dessert, however, i had a crazy idea!!

How about have buffet ice cream in Haagen Daz?!?!??!

Great idea!! We headed straight to Bangsar Village 2 to try it!! There are 8 flavours to choose from: Belgian Chocolate, Macadamia Nut, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, Coffee, Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate Chip with variety of toppings to choose from! Of course excluding fruits topping.

I had 6 scoops of ice cream!! Can you imagine that?? Just for lunch and can withstand me till night at 10pm.

My colleague had 6 scoops of ice cream and 2 smaller scoops of ice cream. All together 8 scoops. hahaha.....

Malaysia Guinness Book of Record, I reckon...

The indulgence was very satisfying.. causing us to feel cold while having the ice-cream...


I had never did something as crazy like this for a long time!!

Accident

I was on the way back from Putrajaya. I was planning to go back to the office to finish some stuffs that I should be doing for the past few days. Unfortunately, something had happened.

While I was waiting at the traffic light, waiting for the red light to turn into green light, I realised that there was a big bus stationary next to me. I had been always extra cautious when a bus is next to me. I was too this time. Both the bus driver and myself were going to turn right. When the bus was turning right, I had already slowed down. Immediately I pressed my brake when I saw the bus was driving heading my lane. Unfortunately, it was too late, the bus banged the front side of my car.

This is the bus which had knocked into my car.

There was a loud noise coming from the side of my car, the bus's body draged against my car's body from the left side. I had no other choice but to stop at the side, to see the damaged of this accident. And, I found out ....

Gosh! My car was in a bad shape. The damaged were: -

1. the front left head light spoilt,
2. the front left side of the bumper was out of place and heavily scratched,
3. the front left signal was dislocate from the bumper,
4. the front car plate went missing,
5. the left side silver lining covering the body of the car above the left side wheel was missing,
6. the part of the body on top of the left side wheels was dented heavily.

I demanded the bus driver to compensate for his carelessness. He asked me to follow him to Cyberjaya where his office is located and talk to his boss. I drove the car following the bus driver to his office. His manager asked me to report to the police and claim from insurance. I requested for the driver's ic no and driving license and they are reluctant to give it to. He said take down the bus plate number will do.

So I do not know what to do...

At the end, I decided not to report the police as the damaged cost about RM350.

The reasons being:-

1. I may ended being accused of at the wrongs by the police (of course the bus company is very influential: BRIBERY. They are powerful by influencing the police to put the blamed on to me. I may ended up being fine RM300 or more. Furthermore, I won't be able to claim from the insurance as well.

2. Both party are at wrongs and ended have to pay the summons.I won't be able to claim from the insusrance as well for this scenario too.

3. By claiming the damages from my insurance company, may cause me of a higher rate of NPB for next year.

At the end, it is still the bus driver/ bus company at the winning end.

Life is so unfair. I hate this bus company. I hate Rapid KL.

On The Road

Today while I am heading to work, driving from Cheras to PJ via Federal Highway, I saw 2 motorcycles and 2 cars breakdown...

No wonder it is so jam nowadays....

Wide awake

I can't sleep. I had been tossing and turning since 3plus in the morning. I'm just too stressed up with work.

Another Event Passed and Here's Another One Coming

I had gone through Danga Bay, Johor and Queensway Bay, Penang last weekend. Here is another one coming and it is around the corner. I would say working in these events are not my cup of tea. Working 7-11 is very very exhausting. However, it is the travelling to new places and the food that I enjoyed when going to these event.

Looking forward for Perkampungan Hadhari in Alor Setar, Kedah. Hopefully, it would not be too hot and sunny! Keeping my finger crossed.

Everyone look so happy

These are the people from my work place. We had gathering every 3 months. Colleagues from East Malaysia flew to West Malaysia for quarterly performance/operation meeting.

Dinner at Mum's Place 17th July. It is offering nyonya cuisine. The owner I presumed is among the top notched society, that's explain why he had so many pictures with celebrities and ministers on the wall.

Everyone look so happy. I wonder who is really happy; who is not?

Coming Soon Jom Heboh Carnival in Johor, Danga Bay!

Next Friday, I will be heading to Johor for another event of Jom Heboh. In fact, I'm not looking forward for it. It is a very tiring event. I will be coming back on Monday....

I'm going for Spiderman 3

Some days I love my job. Some days I don't! For today I do!!! I am going to watch the Premiere of Spider Man 3 tonight for FREE!!! Looking forward for a great show.







Actually, this is not the first time I am given free tickets to the movies. Previously, it was the Premier screening for James Bond. The lead actor is Craig Daniel or David. The guy who came out from the sea wearing his swimming trunk plus a whole 6 packs of muscles. Pheee weet.........

Press Conference for Tipu Kiri Tipu Kanan

Press conference for Tipu Kiri Tipu Kanan was held at Planet Hollywood, KL on 27th March. The only person I recognised from the casting crew is Hans Isaac. The rest are from Indonesia and India. Who is who ah?!?!?!

Perkampungan Hadhari, Pulau Duyung Terengganu II

These two hosts from the Mencari Menantu are damn sporting. They are doing the kopi tarik stunts themselves. I, myself have not even tried it!

This is the second 2 minit live interview with Zaleha. Although it was only 2 minutes interview it felt like 20 minutes interview.

The celebrity for TV9 is Farrah Adeeba Mohamed Ashraf. She is arrogant in my opinion. She is currently the one of the faces for Nescafe's outdoor billboard 1 Now, 1 Nescafe. This is Minum Paling Banyak, Minum Paling Cepat Contest. The record is 5 cups of 3oz in 15 seconds.

Perkampungan Hadhari Pulau Duyung, Terengganu

This was the second event for Perkampungan Hadhari. It was held in Pulau Duyung, Kuala Terengganu from 23 & 24 March 07. I had 3 events from one week to the another week starting from March onwards. I am glad when our event for May had changed the venue. So it is a 2 months break for me for Jom Heboh and Perkampungan Hadhari.

Perkampungan Hadhari was launched in Kepala Batas, Penang for 3 days from 15th March to 17th March. Luckily, I don't have to go for this event. It was hot. Those who went for the event came back as red as lobster!

Mawi is one of our famous local singer. He got his fame from Akademi Fantasia ( dunno which year). He had been endorsing many brands like Mamee Slurp, Power Root and also Silky Gal ( a local cosmetic brand which is doing very well in our local market).

I am endorsing my own brand too... hehehe..The brand ambassador for the company. Yeah right, a local brand ambasador is paid about 20K to 50K per year and it depended on their popularity. Me?? Less then 5 figure income.. hahahaha..... A local KL citygurl. I'm just a employee working for the company for the interview because we do not engaged any ambassador. There were 5 and 2 minutes interview.

As I mentioned in my previous post, this celebrity of TV9 is Zaleha Khairene. She had been to our booth. I can't confirm whether she is the same person.

Look so steady yeah... I was having a stage fright... However, i received praises from my boss. He said that I spoke very well for the interview.. duh......

The hosts for 'Mencari Menantu' err..I'm not a local malay fans... Understand from the TV3 peeps, it is a very well recepted reality show by the local malays. They are also planning for a second season this second half of the year....

The local celebs are supposed to drop by every booth for 30 minutes to organize some events and etc..

Jom Heboh Kuantan 2007 II

Basically this is how the company set up in the event. It is used every where in Jom Heboh and Perkampungan Hadhari.

I think the camera was shooting my behind!!Should do it the opposite way.

Everytime an event like this end, I would be very tired...

Jom Heboh Kuantan 2007

The company I am working with is going to participate both Jom Heboh and Perkampungan Hadhari for 2007. Basically Jom Heboh started as Sure Heboh in year 2005 but converted to Jom Heboh in year 2006. Why used the english word 'Sure' for a Malay carnival? So from 2006, Jom Heboh. It is organized by TV3 while Perkampungan Hadhari is organized by TV9.

In fact, I went to my first Jom Heboh event last year, in Batu Kawan Stadium, Pulau Pinang from 4 & 5 Nov 2006. Too bad, I had only taken 1 picture. It's the whole team of sales from HTM and us. Very supportive and cooperative team. Good teamwork!

This is how the carnival look like during the set up. Me and Sk. I can tell u to upload a picture for blogspot really take time. It is not easy, after some trial and error .. finally! Please bear with the sequence...






We are at the stage organizing a contest Kopi Tarik. Interesting to see the participants perform. All kinds of style....
